Editorial Policy

Press releases on the wire are republished as issued by the organisation named on them. We do not edit their claims. Each one links to the original.

Briefs are written from primary sources: research papers, agency announcements and official statements. Drafts are prepared with the help of AI tools from those sources only, then checked and published by an editor. Every brief lists its sources at the end.

Figures in a brief must appear in its sources. If you find an error, write to us through the contact page and we will correct it and note the correction.

Releases are removed from the wire twelve months after publication, or sooner if the issuer withdraws them.
